stood "wide-eyed" before bio-optic holography expert Robert Tennyson
Stevens, wondering which, if any, of my deep, dark secrets that he would be
able to "read" as he peered intently into my illuminated pupils. He
switched off his penlight, stood back a bit and asked "How
long have you been hiding your genius?"
The question shook me like a nearby thunderclap! How could he
possibly know that I had
intentionally begun dumbing-down my vocabulary and masking my
intelligence many years ago so that my militarily-imposed "peers"
would not think of me as some sort of freak of nature. By the time I
left the Army, self-imposed mediocrity had become a long-overlooked habit
that I had semi-consciously continued right up to the moment of Robert's questioning.
The brief sessions I enjoyed with Robert that evening and the next
turned out to be very liberating. Re-evaluating my current status
indicated that to play to being as ignorant as the masses seem to no
longer hold any value for me. For the first time ever, I gave myself permission to be all
that I was. Years of repression, however, had dulled my edge. I
found myself looking for means and methods of polishing my mental
acuity back to it's previous sheen.
Recognizing that there are hundreds of thousands of repressed
geniuses in the world who are hiding behind a similar veil of
mediocrity, it occurred to me that a web site that chronicled our
intellectual recovery could be a useful tool for those in
similar stages of re-awakening. It could also be a means of
networking with our true peers, those who
happened to have been gifted with a few additional cognitive abilities.
So, here it begins---my offering to all who think and reason at a
level beyond the 'norm.' I expect that many, if
not most, who are attracted to this site will exceed my own
abilities. I look forward to the sharing from each of you that will
help elevate me to your level.
I hereby un-veil the gift of genius that was born into me. I choose
to elevate, enhance and expand my abilities to their highest
potential. I invite everyone on Earth to proudly join me in
displaying their genius,
unabashed, unashamed and
unveiled.
